Civilized for Consumption is a critique of capitalism. It explores the pervasive grip of capitalism on society, where money is elevated to the status of an idol.
In this system, exploitation, greed, and relentless consumption become survival mechanisms.
The endless cycle of comparison and competition traps us in a pursuit of excessive material gain, creating a loop.
This piece reflects on how capitalism distorts human values and identity, reducing us to mere cogs in a system driven by consumption.
